Vacation House Hunting

Looking longingly out the window and praying for the weather to clear up. The trees in the yard are at saturation point, soon they will be falling out of the ground due to the soil being too wet to hold their roots. The dam grass, I can’t keep up with it.

Heading to the mountains of MD, if the weather clears, for a weekend at a lake. We’re looking for a vacation/second home. We’re both so busy long vacations are not likely over the next few years. Having a place to go within driving distance is something we really want. We want to be on the lake or near a shore if the cost doesn’t bar it. Three hour or less driving distance with a golf course near by. We’re meeting an agent up in Wisp tomorrow to look at the properties we’ve decided on. Next weekend, if my wife is up to it, we’ll go east toward the coast, St Micheal’s and Solomon’s Island, we have some interest there as well, and it’s a little closer. Unless what we find this weekend is a “not to pass up at any cost deal”.

Cottage away from home, but close enough for our business interests to be served. Must have internet, we both skype with our offices, otherwise a few spare bedrooms for guests(relatives), nature trails, bike paths, golf and swimming. fishing.

Wish us luck.

Wish us luck.
